*Unlike our competitors our personalized scene selections are not automated. We actually go through
your tapes and find those special moments (holidays, school events, birthdays, births, graduations, etc).
Minor editing is classified as static, floor shots, lens caps left on, tracking issues, this
would all be edited out leaving you with a clean transfer.

About
Our Video Tape Transfer Services
Video tapes are transferred by playing
the tapes in a player and capturing the analog signal digitally. The signal can either be burned directly to a DVD (basic
transfer and advanced transfer) or imported to a computer for editing before completion (automated and personalized chapters).
All methods are done in real-time—a two hour video tape will take two hours to transfer. Additionally, old tapes sometimes
experience tracking issues. If this occurs, we use different equipment to obtain the best transfer possible. This can delay
the completion of the job.
Advanced straight transfers, automated transfers
and personalized chapters require time to print custom labels and DVD cases. Additionally, tapes which request individual
or automated chapters require significant computer editing time. The video tape to be imported to a computer, in real time,
then edited and spit amongst multiple DVDs. Finally, an employee must sit down and determine what chapters to create. Since
many tapes are not extensively labeled, this requires viewing of several sections of the tape to determine the content and
provide a truly complete and individual video tape to DVD service.
Jobs that are
not being transferred are stored safely in individual plastic buckets off the floor in our climate-controlled office. Jobs
in progress are kept together with labels.
